11th Grade Homerathon

The date has changed, so be sure to mark your calendar for our 1st annual Homerathon on October 30th, from 6PM to midnight on campus! This party centers the stories of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, and we hope to give our 11th grade students a night full of Ancient Greek culture and competition. The students will compete to become the aristosachaion, the greatest of the Achaians, by accumulating kleos, or glory, in several events, demonstrating both their physical and mental acuity. These events will be based on Patroclus' funeral games and Odysseus' many feats as shown in Homer's writings. PSO will be reaching out with opportunities to donate materials to make this the best event possible. If you have any questions or would like to see how you can contribute, please reach out to Benjamin Adams, Dean of High School, at Benjamin.adams@greatheartstxschools.org

Costumes are encouraged!
