Our Lakeside community is grieving the recent loss of one of our Lower School scholars. During this incredibly difficult time, many families have asked how they can offer their love and support.
We have created this page as a central place to share ways our community can care for the Porter family and for the faculty and staff who are walking through this loss alongside our students and families.
In Loving Memory
Londyn's Bridge Memorial
The Great Hearts Lakeside community continues to grieve the loss of Londyn Porter. Her classmates, teachers, and friends miss her deeply, and many families have asked how they can honor her memory.
We are grateful to our community for their support of the Porter family during this time. For those who would also like to leave a lasting tribute at the school, we are raising funds to build Londyn's Bridge Memorial, a permanent addition to our playground with a memorial plaque for Londyn.

Message from the Porter Family
There are truly no words to express how grateful our family is for the overwhelming love and support you have shown us during this incredibly difficult time. To the entire GHLS community. Thank you for every prayer, call, text, card, gift card, and every act of love and support. Seeing the beautiful ribbons placed all along Harris pkwy and around the school touched our hearts in such a special way. Knowing that so many people took the time to honor and remember our sweet girl is something our family will never forget.
Please know how thankful
we are for each and every one of you. Thank you for loving our baby, for remembering her, for praying for our family, and for standing beside us. We will forever be grateful for the love you have shown us.
